netKar Funrace Tonight With Calluster

September 7th, 2009 |

netkar beta 2

Tonight we are testing the latest netKar release. It’s a beta 2 demo. Free to download and test. The file is ~200 MB and fast to download. This is a very promising update of netKar and it seems we’ll finally get a chance to be more realistic than ever. Everything other than netKar is a “game” and “arcadish” in comparison to this. netKar is-da-shit to say it short! Real racedrivers use this to get better in real life racing. ;) Ain’t that enough. You just can’t miss this out. If you think you can - let me just remind you of something else you can’t miss out on - The Absolutely SuperMental KickAss Fun on Calluster. Be there - or be square. Make sure you are on track in time as some things in this absolutely superrealistic simulator are different from from rFactor. You’ll need the practice that is.

FunRace will start 21.30 CET, 19.30 GMT to make sure we have time to wait for all drivers. More info will be posted in this thread.

Cálluster SimRacing is celebrating it’s first aniversary the 9th of April.

April 6th, 2009 |

Time passes, and from being only 2 guys in March 2008 (Luka and Maxxad) we are now a bunch of racing addicts having as fun as we were doin the army, but we’re damn much faster now I hope. Things have changed along the Calluster-path. We have gathered people from over 30 nations and we all have fun together. Here in Calluster I can say that I have gotten some really good friends. I’m even planning to visit some. As soon as I get my Harley…

So how do we celebrate this? Any ideas? Get together in Focas Garden watching her dancing on the curbs? Nice one, but I think we won’t handle it. Celebrating with a endurance race from friday to sunday? Make a movie from all our races together? Register a company called Calluster which sell simracing-movies? Yuukk! Make a nice peice of photoshop art? Drink 4 gallons of Lapin Kulta? I invite you all to Stockholm over a weekend, and we steal some Porsches to race around town with. Ha ha ha. Or… we all sit down in a virtual internet-meeting and try to come up with good suggestions about how we will run Calluster next year. Then drink 15 gallons each, AGAIN :) And finish that off with a race.

Whatever we do - we should do it together. And if we try, we should all try doing our best. How can we celebrate? Any suggestions? Racing? Driving backwards on a track, as fast as possible? Endurance race with the Mille on Charade2006? Or should we all gather and pick a community were they are driving HistorX and just blow up their doors and set up our cars on their grid.  And then race hard as hell.
